Matt Cedrone is the founder and President of Cedrone & O'Neill Inc., a nationally recognized executive search, outplacement and consulting firm. Matt has over 18 years of experience within the consumer and industrial marketplace, partnering with both public and private companies to increase their strategic advantage through talent acquisition and consulting services.

Prior to founding Cedrone & O'Neill, Matt spent eight years with a Fortune 500 Industrial and Consumer manufacturer. During this time Matt was promoted five times, and ended his tenure as the Vice President of Industrial Sales & Marketing.

Joe Voelker - EVP – Organization Innovation will be leading client and candidate development for retained Executive Recruiting assignments with key clients in the Building Materials, Consumer and Industrial Products, and Private Equity.

Joe’s Human Resource Career spans over 30 years. He joins C&O from Stanley Black & Decker, where he formerly served as the Chief Human Resource Officer. In this role, Joe oversaw and managed human capital strategy, as well as environmental health and safety, corporate social responsibility, corporate brand management, and corporate communication. His most recent experience includes overseeing the development of “Purpose-Driven Performance” talent strategy. Joe also spearheaded the “Talent Factory” in order to align talent to value creation and performance.

Joe began his career at the General Electric Company and held numerous positions in the transportation, quartz, and lighting business. He graduated cum laude from Gannon University and received the Kinnane Graduate Award from Mercyhurst College where he earned a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Management. Joe also earned a Master’s Degree in Adult Education from Penn State University. He is committed to community service. Joe currently serves as the Vice Chair of Hartford Healthcare Board of Directors and Board Chair of Ready Connecticut.

Michelle Petersen is the Director of Talent Management and has worked for the firm for nine years. She manages candidate development and assessment, sourcing and relationship building with key clients and candidates and the outplacement support program. Her network of leaders in the consumer and industrial sectors provides access to a channel of talent, helping to solve the most challenging needs on your team.

Before joining Cedrone & O'Neill, she worked for three years as a Recruiter and Researcher at a retained search firm specializing in the technology, healthcare and electronics industry. Michelle's extensive knowledge in research, market assessment and candidate sourcing provides a great foundation for the support and development of ideal candidates for your search needs.

Sam Perrone - Executive Recruiter. Sam will be leading client and candidate development for retained Executive Recruiting assignments with key clients in the Building Materials, Consumer and Industrial Products, and Private Equity.

Sam brings over 30 years of diverse Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and overall business experience to the firm. Sam has played key leadership roles in various Consumer Products and Private Equity backed companies including Henkel, Colgate-Palmolive, Avon and Sun Products. Sam’s last role prior to joining C&O was Vice President, Supply Chain Finance Laundry & Beauty-NA for Henkel Corporation, where he was responsible for all financial aspects of the $3B North American Supply Chain. Sam’s background includes 25 years at Colgate-Palmolive. Throughout his career, Sam has been best known for excelling at the people side of the business, maximizing organizational potential while fostering a performance culture, and leading teams to bold achievement. Sam graduated from Fordham University with a BS in Accounting. He also earned his MBA in Finance from Long Island University.

Rob has over ten years of experience in sales and customer support in multiple channels. Rob has a BS in Management from Keene State College and lives in New Hampshire.

Margaret Ross is the Strategic Communication and Organization Innovation intern. She is a public relations graduate from Quinnipiac University and will be pursuing her MBA in 2021-2022. Her passion is for writing, editing and brand management. Margaret’s coursework has included strategic campaigns, modeled press conferences, written case studies, crisis management planning and much more. Margaret offers experience with resume editing, candidate positioning, candidate development, PowerPoint presentations, copywriting, Zoom and creating company materials.
