Our Management Team


Matt Cedrone is the founder and President of Cedrone & O'Neill Inc., a nationally recognized executive search, outplacement and consulting firm. Matt has over 18 years of experience within the consumer and industrial marketplace, partnering with both public and private companies to increase their strategic advantage through talent acquisition and consulting services.

Prior to founding Cedrone & O'Neill, Matt spent eight years with a Fortune 500 Industrial and Consumer manufacturer. During this time Matt was promoted five times, and ended his tenure as the Vice President of Industrial Sales & Marketing.

Matt's industry knowledge, strategic relationships and commitment to excellence set him apart in the industry.

David Sugar serves as the Executive Vice President at Cedrone and O'Neill, where he places top sales, marketing, operations, and senior-level talent in the consumer and industrial markets.

Before joining Cedrone and O'Neill in 2002, Dave developed his career in the consumer and industrial product industries working for Black & Decker, GE Plastics, Kryptonite Lock, and The Stanley Works. During his twenty-four years in the business, he has held positions in sales, sales management, marketing, training, organizational planning, and corporate recruiting before becoming Vice President of Sales at Stanley Door Systems.

Dave has active relationships with a broad mix of leaders throughout the consumer and industrial channels. His experience at all levels of the corporate structure provides a solid understanding of organizational planning and development needs in the consumer and industrial marketplace.

Michelle Petersen serves as a Senior Talent Manager at Cedrone & O'Neill where she manages candidate development and assessment, sourcing and relationship building with key clients and candidates. Michelle's network of leaders in the consumer and industrial channels provide a channel of talent for filling the most challenging needs on your team.

Before joining Cedrone & O'Neill, Michelle worked for three years as a Recruiter/Researcher at a retained search firm specializing in the technology and electronics industry. Michelle's extensive knowledge in research, market assessment and candidate sourcing provides a great foundation for the support and development of ideal candidates for your search needs.

Christine LaFrancois serves as the Project Manager at Cedrone & O'Neill, where she oversees special projects, marketing, research, outplacement support, client and candidate development, and website management.

With an extensive background in education and organizational psychology, along with advanced degrees in management communication and public relations, Christine brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to Cedrone & O'Neill.

Susan Sweenie serves as a Talent Manager at Cedrone & O'Neill, where she supports executive recruiting, outplacement support and special projects. Sue has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Operations Management as well as Marketing and Social Media. Given her background as an author, Sue also provides writing support for all phases of the recruiting and outplacement process.
